This is one of PABOI Cabang Jawa Timur’s latest programs, dedicated to regularly updating knowledge, enhancing skills, and fostering partnerships in the Orthopaedic and Traumatology fields for daily practice.

With numerous experts in Orthopaedics and Traumatology across East Java, we have designed this course and workshop to be comprehensive, up-to-date, practical, and engaging. This event is a significant opportunity to share experiences, upgrade skills, and improve capabilities in treating and managing Orthopaedic and Traumatology patients.

About Events

Orthopaedi & Traumatology is a branch of medicine that studies the musculoskeletal system on a broad scope. The scope of Orthopaedic & Traumatology does not only consist of trauma or fractures as the public often acknowledge. Orthopaedics & Traumatology also includes congenital disorders, infections, tumors, arthritis, neurological disorders, and degenerative disorders. Diagnostic and therapeutic options also vary, from routine physical examinations to an advanced and invasive diagnostic tools. Each of the scope of the Orthopaedic and Traumatology are can be faced by the general practitioners on daily health services.

Additional knowledge and training in the field of Orthopaedics & Traumatology is necessary due to very limitted time during the clinical education periode. With a limited teaching time, in which only averagely 1 week spent, it results in less exposure to medical updates as well as opportunities practicing basic medical skills of Orthopaedic & Traumatology. With a strong knowledges and proper skills, it is hoped that general practitioners can give optimal and excellent services for Orthopaedic & Traumatology cases, both in the emergency department and outpatient care.

Given the importance of knowledge's update & basic skills in the field of Orthopaedi & Traumatology for general practitioners as the frontliner, the East Java branch of PABOI is committed to run the ORTHOPAEDIC 101 regularly. It is expected to contribute improving the quality of Medical Practitioner's resources in providing excellent services to the community.
